For something different, we're going to give the "This day in music history" a rest and look into more thoughtful postings. About three times a week, we'll share an article, journal, or blog about music, whether it be about teaching lessons, taking lessons, performing, or anything having to do with lessons.
Here is a link from ComposeCreate.com of an interview discussing the future of teaching piano lessons. However, I think one can apply this to any teaching of private music lessons. If you cannot click it, just copy and paste it into your browser.
Premier Music Studio's spacious waiting area and recital hall are available for your next event. Email us at email@example.com or call us at (317) 850-8984 to inquire about availability.
Our recital hall comfortably seats 40, and can seat 50 if necessary. It's ideal for small recitals (not just piano, but other instruments as well), master classes, workshops, rehearsals, and meetings. The room costs $20/hour for use, and includes setup of chairs and use of our Haddorff Five-foot baby grand piano. If you wish to have the piano tuned, that is an additional $110 for the technician.
Our upstairs room is ideal for rehearsals, meetings, recordings and other small group activities. The cost is $10/hour for use. The fee covers chairs and use of our Kawai CN33 digital piano. The room has extra padding under the carpet and on the walls for excellent sound quality.
